"Baby's brain -- both hemispheres! -- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place. "
More bloodwork results from yesterday: Estradiol=2150 (so even though I dropped a patch, my E2 still increased!). I get to decrease 1 more patch beginning on Sunday (1-4-09). That'll leave me with 2 patches and 1 Estrace tablet. Maybe I'll be off estrogen entirely in 3 weeks? Hope so. Progesterone=38.47, which while is still great, they wouldn't decrease PIO. So, that leaves me with 1cc PIO every other day and Prometrium supps three times a day. Maybe next Tuesday's b/w will look better and I can decrease some Progesterone again. I can't wait to be DONE with PIO. What a PITA (I know, stupid joke).
Hope everyone has a swingin' New Year's Eve!

Ugh, the PIO and the suppositories are the worst, aren't they?! I hope you get to be done with them soon!
Your blood work is looking great! Give the blueberries a belly rub for me!
Happy new year my dear friend!!
I can't believe you are on PIO and suppositories. That's a lot of progesterone. I'm on just PIO (1 ml/ day) and my level is 100! That's a crazy number and my RE has said nothing about cutting back. (Which is fine with me. If it's not broke, don't fix it.)
I'm so happy for you and your blueberry boys!
So glad that everything is looking great, Jill! Congratulations on the twins, too!!! Wow - so much good news!
Happy New Year!
Yay! glad everything is continuing to look good.

Man, that's a lot of stuff to take! I can only imagine what a PITA that is! :)
Happy New Year, Jill!
Jill, I don't know how you do it with the PIO for so long. Seriously, I only did it over the summer for 18 days and I was starting to get a bruise. I don't know that I could have done it so long term.
You're such a trooper! :)
Yay for blueberries! I continue to be so happy for you - your story is truly an inspiration to take me into 2009 and possible to CCRM.
Glad the meds are working like they should! I'm hoping you are off them all in no time. (-;
Happy 2009, Jill!!
Everything is looking so good! What a great way to bring in 2009. I enjoy your posts about the sizes of the baby in relation to food - makes me think of blueberries and peanuts differently :-).
When I saw this I immediately got a craving for muffins. Then I started thinking about Violet Baeuregarde in Willy Wonka turning into a blueberry... see what a silly mind I have?
Glad things are going super well, what an amazing 2009 you will be having!
Happy New Year!
All your baby size references are food-related! I love it. Blueberries are fantastic.
As for the PIO, I hope you can ween off soon.
